Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept Revealed at Pebble Beach

Earlier this year, Spyker unveiled its B6 Venator Concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and now the Dutch automaker has dropped the top for the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The two-door, mid-engine sports car is essentially the same as the coupe in terms of design and styling, but in convertible form. Powering it is the same transverse-mounted V6 engine found in the coupe, which will have over 375 horsepower according to Spyker. The company also announced that production on the B6 Venator Spyder will begin in late 2014 for key markets including Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and India. Production for the U.S. will not begin until early 2015.

The Spyker B6 Venator features an all carbon fiber body built on an all-aluminum platform. Its lightweight design weighs in at under 3,085 pounds and its powerplant is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. Approximate pricing on the Spyder, according to Spyker, will be around $150,000.
